Beraunite & Kidwellite (Will Henderson Coll.)

Item Description

Kidwellite is a fairly "new" phosphate species (named in 1974), and is well known from Polk County, Arkansas. This specimen is a good representative piece of kidwellite and beraunite. Crusts of light green kidwellite are associated with a rich field of lustrous, rust-red, spherical aggregates of bladed beraunite on mostly goethite matrix. Classic combination material from the collection Will Henderson and obtained from Mereith York.
