Item Description

Dallas Gem Mine benitoite combinations are a desirable US classic, with the locale nowing being essentially extinct. This aesthetic miniature is highlighted by the 1.0 cm upright benitoite and the nifty corsage-like cluster of benitoites and lustrous neptunite crystals. The snow-white natrolite on the serpentine matrix is a classic contrast. The translucent benitoites have classic indigo-blue color and textbook trigonal crystal form. Pristine in the display views, except for the periphery wear. You can't see the small ding on the back of the large benitoite termination. Old-time material, as Bob Trimingham purchased this in 1961 from Cole's Mines & Minerals in Oakland, the mine operators at the time.
