Item Description
A showy and excellent miniature of three, highly desirable species from the famous and extinct Dallas Gem Mine. Classic indigo-blue, partially gemmy, benitoite crystals and lustrous, jet-black, neptunite blades are nicely scattered about with just a bit of snow-white natrolite. Nestled in the middle of the piece is a 1 mm, gemmy, amber-brown, joaquinite crystal, the ultra rare cerium silicate, for which this is the Type Locality. The large, 1.2 cm benitoite on the edge is cleaved, but the rest are pristine. The neptunites, to 8 mm, are pristine. Highly representative combination material from this classic locale. Ex Jaime Bird Collection.
