Benitoite floater xl (Columbia University collection)

Item Description

A large old-time benitoite crystal from the famous Dallas Gem Mine. It is a floater, complete all around and very 3-dimensional! The sharp textbook trigonal crystal is grayish-blue and has moderate luster. A bit of translucence and indigo-blue color is noted on the edges. One corner is contacted, but has no damage, per se. A classic large crystal and comes with a faded Columbia University label.
