Benitoite (classic material)

A classic specimen of Benitoite from the now closed Gem Mine in California. Everybody is familiar with these specimens, and they are some of the most recognizable pieces in the world for their renowned quality and beauty. This piece hosts several sharp, well-formed, trigonal, beautiful blue color crystals of Benitoite measuring up to 9 mm across with a bit of white Natrolite on minor matrix. Good quality overall with only a few small imperfections. The piece is certainly aesthetic, and to have multiple crystals like this on matrix is not terribly common for the material. You can't get these anymore, so don't miss out on this one as they seem to be increasing in price on the market.
