Benitoite and Neptunite on Natrolite

An excellent combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Dallas Gem Mine of California. A lustrous, 1.7 x 1.4 cm, partially gemmy, indigo-blue benitoite crystal is the centerpiece to this showy serpentine plate covered with snow-white natrolite. Nicely scattered about are smaller benitoite and neptunite crystals. The largest neptunite is 1.1 cm and is doubly terminated. This beautiful specimen is in excellent shape, with only a bit of periphery wear. Very fine, older combination material with several display possibilities.
