Item Description
Belemnites are an extinct group of squid-like cephalopods, related to ammonites. Belemnitella Americana lived during the Cretaceous Period. They had 10 arms but no tentacles. The Chesapeake and Delaware Canal started in 1804 and has been greatly expanded in later years. This translucent and lustrous fossil looks like a burnt-orange bullet!
