Bayldonite with Arsentsumebite and Quartz (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

A good association specimen of yellow-green Bayldonite associated with green Arsentsumebite associated with minor Quartz from Tsumeb. Quartz is not terribly common from Tsumeb and to have it has an association of beautifully accenting Bayldonite and Arsentsumebite, really makes for a nice contrast. Hard to find material from the world famous Tsumeb Mine. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#8370). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
