A 2 cm, sharp, glassy, translucent, doubly terminated, Baveno-twinned K Feldspar variety Adularia crystal is dramatically set upright on the gneiss matrix and nicely accented with contrasting smoky quartz crystals. Ex Kay Robertson Collection. Her number was lost during the move. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
