Item Description
A gorgeous, gemmy, rich golden-amber bastnesite crystal from recent finds at Zagi Mountain, Pakistan. This crystal has textbook hexagonal form typical for this RARE cerium carbonate. These crystals have stellar intense color, gemminess, luster, and form. Very nearly pristine, as trivial bit of termination edgewear is noted. The contacting on the back of the termination has no damage, per se. This find redefines what the average collector can get for the top of the species. The backlit photo highlights the incredibly rich golden-amber color and gemminess of this fine crystal. A frien dof ours paid $800 for this crystal when it came out
