Item Description
A 1.8 cm, textbook, gemmy, cluster of honey-brown bastnesite crystals nicely set on gneiss matrix from the now famous finds at Zagi Mountain, Pakistan, peaking in around 2007-2009. The intergrown crystals have textbook hexagonal form for this RARE cerium carbonate. The crystals have stellar, intense color, gemminess, luster, and form. It is from this find that redefines what the average collector can get for the top of the species. The rich golden-amber color glows, when the crystals are backlit. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this showy piece at $400, five or more years ago.
