Item Description
Quality, textbook example of the famous Bastnasites from Zagi Mountain, Pakistan. This excellent, 8 mm single crystal sits perfectly on a granular matrix of altered granite, where you can appreciate its classic hexagonal form, good terminations, and deep cinnamon color. Add just the right lighting, and the excellent luster, interesting textured pattern on the faces, and the transluscence all become evident. This is a choice specimen for this RARE, and coveted, cerium carbonate.
