Item Description

Here's an oddity for the mineral collector! The lava bubble itself is a ncie shape and size, and fuun to look at. Moreover, two coins, a 1927 5 lira piece and a Constantine, were pressed into molten lava and then cooled! An unusual and unique Italian basalt specimen from famed Mt. Etna in Sicily. Ex Dr. Mark Mauthner Collection. Value?? Hard to say, as it is truly unique.
