Item Description

A classic hemisphere of parallel-growth knobby clusters of tranlucent, ivory colored barite blades from the famous Elmwood Mine. Barite is one of the primary accessory species, along with sphalerite, that complements the world-class calcite and fluorite specimens from Elmwood. Rubyjack sphalerite is embedded on the base. Showy, highly representative well-formed barite with only a modest bit of periphery wear.
