Item Description

An impressive large 8.3 cm doubly terminated barite blade crowns this sculptural large barite specimen from this less well-known Spanish locale. The artistically intergrown and parallel-growth, translucent, frosted, light gray blades are dramatically accented by preferential coatings of pyrolusite or other manganese oxides. The contact on the center of the large crystal has no damage, per se. A very choice and essentially pristine 360-degree larger example from the Sanabria Collection.
