Baryte w/ Pyrolusite coating (Sanabria Coll.) - unusual

A striking and sculptural large baryte specimen from this less well-known Spanish locale. The doubly terminated, aesthetically intergrown, parallel-growth, translucent, frosted, light gray blades have a remarkable matte pyrolusite coating, that adds real character and contrast. Nearly pristine, with only lightly bruised crystal edge in the center and the noted periphery wear on the lower right. Very choice and uncommon large baryte combination material from the Sanabria Collection.
