Item Description

An impressive, rich and showy large barite plate from this obscure and remote Yukon, Canada locale. Stout, glassy, translucent, gray prisms are tightly intergrown and are nicely accented with patches of small calcite crystals. The imposing large central barite is 4.6 cm. A most excellent and nearly pristine 360-degree plate with only modest periphery wear on one side and a couple of very hard to see bruises on smaller crystals in the interior.
