Item Description
The Lubin Mine in Poland for many years has been producing gorgeous specimens of Baryte and Marcasite, found in various styles. This piece is from a fairly recent find which produced these iconic stalactites of Baryte which are coated by sparkling metallic (slightly iridescent) golden Marcasite on the exterior. You can see at the base of the specimen that the cream colored Baryte is still present underneath, so it's not a pseudomorph, simply a coating of Marcasite over Baryte.
