Baryte (Sanabria Coll.) - unusual locale

Item Description

A glorious 4.8 cm cluster of sharp, gem golden-yellow barite blades is dramatically set on the matrix wedge on this very aesthetic and exceptional example from the 2005-06 finds at this well-known locale. Scattered barites elsewhere are a fine accent. The cluster is essentially pristine, with only barely noticeable edge wear. The bruised crystals on the matrix are certainly only a modest detraction to this very showy piece. The base has been sawed to enhance the outstanding display quality. Ex Sanabria Collection.
