Item Description

A sculptural and highly desirable large combination classic from the historic silver-polymetallic mine at Felsobanya. This impressive and aesthetic jackstraw cluster of stout, blocky, tabular, glassy, translucent barite crystals is highlighted by the dominating large 5.5 cm crystal on the edge. The matrix is a striking radial cluster of metallic stibnite needles to about 4.0 cm. Ex Richard Rossi Collection. Richard is a Senior Fellow of the Mineralogical Record. Very showy, pristine and excellent combination material from this famous locale.
