Item Description

An artistic cluster of parallel-growth tabular barite crystals is very aesthetically set atop the sculptural miniature matrix of densely intergrown contrasting dolomite rhombs. The striking glassy light gray to light mint-green barite prisms, to about 2.0 cm, are water-clear to translucent and have typical beveled chisel terminations. A high quality in terms of aesthetics for the size! The frontal view of this very cute combination is nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising to the right edge barite. Bruising to crystals on the back is totally out-of-sight. A fine and classic combination miniature from the 2005 find.
