Item Description

A classic, highly desirable and excellent old-time barite crystal from the famous iron mines at Frizington. This beautiful very sharp and glassy spearpoint has a striking limpid termination which dramatically accents the lower translucent areas and bit of hematite at the base. Nearly pristine, with only a bit of edge wear, mostly on the back of the crystal and out-of-sight. An outstanding single barite crystal miniature from the Howard Belsky Collection.
