Item Description
A fine quality example of the famous Meikle Mine Barytes. The piece was collected in the late 1990s. This small cabinet specimen is a showy and highly displayable piece featuring sharp, very gemmy (virtually water-clear in certain crystals), lustrous, tabular light golden colored Baryte crystals measuring up to 1.2 cm, sitting on matrix. There are dozens of crystals on both sides of the piece. Very good quality, I can see some small imperfections, but the piece is in great shape overall. Classic material and hard to photograph, and I would say better in person. Valued $1,200.
From the collection of Colin Manlove.
