Item Description
This is a wonderful miniature sized display specimen from the lesser known Murray Mine (not to be confused with the Meikle Mine) in Nevada. While Baryte is known from this mine, there was a particular pocket called the "Sugarbowl Pocket", that featured a generation of Baryte that formed in pseudo-rhombic, thick, blocky crystals with a soft silvery hue, which were coated by sparkling white "drusy" Quartz. This piece is a showy and fine quality example of this material with excellent aesthetic form. The largest crystal measures 2.1 cm. No damage on the front/display side. A great piece to add to any suite of worldwide Barytes or minerals Nevada / the western United States.
