Item Description

A very aesthetic small cabinet cluster of intergrown glassy, translucent, colorless, blocky tabular barite crystals from an unknown Sardinia locale. The impressive large compound crystal is 2.4 cm on edge. The crystal zoning adds character. In excellent shape, overall, with only one contacted edge noted. Probably from Carbonia-Iglesias Province. Classic and showy 360-degree barite from the Ted Bartels Collection.
