Stout, prismatic, baryte crystals richly and attractively cover this showy and excellent plate from the classic locale in Sardinia. The crystals, to 3.9 cm (doubly terminated), are very glassy, gemmy, have light yellow color and textbook chisel terminations. Essentially pristine, with just a bit of periphery wear. Classic Silius baryte. Ghostly yellowish-white fluorescence. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
