Baryte (classic locale) ex Obodda

Item Description

Silius barytes are an Italian classic and this is a very fine example from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Glassy, tabular gray prisms have textbook chisel terminations and are very aesthetically clustered on the 3-sided matrix. The large blade is 3.8 x 3.1 cm. A very fine and pristine 3-sided piece. Herb valued this excellent specimen at $350, more than 10 years ago.
