Item Description

Beautiful, prismatic, baryte crystals richly and attractively cover the large curved matrix on this sculptural and excellent large specimen from the classic locale in Sardinia. The crystals, to 2.6 cm, are very glassy, gemmy, have fine amber color and textbook chisel terminations. Just a few gently bruised terminations and edges are noted. Classic Silius baryte. It displays well without aid. Ghostly white fluorescence. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued at $1000.
