A dramatic, sculptural old-time cluster of very sharply terminated, broad, iron oxide-tinted, translucent gray barite spearpoints from one of the many old mines of this famous province. A striking blades are up to about 4.3 cm long. The impressive crystals along the crest look like a spiked crown from the Early Middle Ages or like Sauron's crown from the Lord of the Rings! Classic and excellent old-time Sardinian barite.
