Item Description

An impressive and quite attractive cabinet specimen consisting of Baryte and Cerussite. The Baryte clusters are lenticular, with the Baryte blades tinted an almost brick red with a hint of orange. The lenticular shape reminds me of a conch shell, and the 2 cm clusters are very uniform across the piece. The Barytes are accented with hundreds of 1-2 mm-size Cerussites and Wulfenites that populate the matrix. Excellent large, colorful and older combination material from the 1970s or 1980s from this classic locale. Seldom available in this large size without damage, but the form and shape make it special!
