Item Description

Very glassy and gemmy, light straw-yellow barite blades richly cover both sides of the brecciated shale matrix on this showy and excellent large 3-dimensional specimen from the famous finds in the late 1990s at the Meikle Mine of Nevada. The large crystal is 4.8 cm on the diagonal. This fine piece is in great shape, for all of the crystal density, with only modest periphery wear. Specimens of this gemmy quality only come from recycled advanced collections. Valued at $850-1000.
