Item Description

An impressive large jackstraw intergrown plate of gem, grayish-yellow baryte blades from the famous finds in the late 1990s at the Meikle Mine of Nevada. Sharp, transparent to translucent blades to 2.9 cm cover this fine piece. The piece displays beautifully from either side. The few bruised crystals noted in the interior and on the periphery certainly only have minimal impact to this choice piece. Specimens of this size and gemmy quality only come from recycled advanced collections. Valued at $1250-1500.
