Item Description

An outstanding, strikingly sculptural and colorful baryte crust from this mine, well-known for barite specimens. Clusters of beautiful, juicy, lustrous, oxide-tinted, salmon-orange second generation barite blades cover an earlier generation of colorless/white blades. This very aesthetic two-sided piece is dominated by the imposing, centrally located, upright, 4.0 cm across tabular crystal. The color and form are most unusual, making this an exceptional specimen from the locale from the Raul Orellana Collection. Valued at $2000 and worth it.
