Item Description
The Baryte specimens from Muddy Creek are some of the most distinctive examples of the species from any locality Colorado. Their easily recognizable tabular habit with the chalky white exterior are unmistakable. This piece features many, undamaged, sharp, well-formed tabular crystals with a translucent, silvery interior and a classic thin white "bands" on the outer edge. The largest crystal measures 2.6 cm on edge. A very attractive small cabinet sized specimen of this classic material.
