Item Description

A very artistic and symmetrical rosette of parallel-growth baryte blades is beautifully complemented and accented by the parallel-growth cluster of baryte blades at the top of the rosette. The blades are aesthetically set on the contrasting miniature dolomite matrix. The colorless blades are gemmy and very glassy with nifty beveled edges. In excellent shape overall. The bruised crystal corner on the left side of the rosette is certainly only a modest detraction. Ex Kurt Hefendehl Collection, a well-known German collector who amassed a world-wide collection of over 6000 pieces. The piece is from the 2005 to 2006 finds and is now considered to be mined out. A charming and showy miniature example from the locale.
