Item Description

Beautiful blue thick tabular crystals of translucent Baryte measuring up to 3.3 cm, comprise this showy and fine quality display specimen from this well-known Spanish locale. Most of the crystals are in fine condition, but a bit of roughness can be seen in few spots.
From the collection of Robert (Bob) Reynolds who passed in August of 2020 (#RR0424). Bob was a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of Earth Sciences at the San Bernardino County Museum in California. The rare phyllomanganate-chromate species Reynoldsite was named in his honor in 2011.
