Item Description
Impressive, very rich, colorful and sculptural large barite specimen from famous Mibladen. The densely intergrown clusters of parallel-growth, bone-white baryte blades are dramatically mostly coated with burnt-orange iron oxides and strikingly accented with a dark brown patch of iron oxides. The bit of scattered bruising is noted, but certainly is minimally detracting to this large piece. Ex Dr. Vasco Trancoso Collection. Excellent large and colorful baryte from this classic locale. Seldom available in this large size. 2159 grams or 4.8 pounds mass.
