Item Description

A dramatic and aesthetic combination plate from the famous 1990s finds at the San Francisco Mine. Striking upright rosettes of parallel-growth, thin tabular barite blades and glassy yellow wulfenite windowpanes are artistically scattered on the matrix plate covered with botryoidal brownish-orange mimetite. The large hidden pristine wulfie on the back is 2.0 x 2.0 cm. The barites are pristine and the few broken wulfies are certainly only a modest detraction to this very showy and fine classic combination from the Bob Trimingham Collection. The piece looks great from either side!
