Item Description

The Sherman mine produced some of the most impressive secondary ore specimens from anywhere in Colorado. This mine is long closed and hasn't produced specimens for nearly 20 years, and the best pieces are highly prized by Colorado collectors. They simply aren't seen on the market today, like most great U.S. classics. This specimen hosts white Barite with blue-green Rosasite, small white/grey Cerussite and silvery colored Galena on matrix. A nice Colorado reference / association specimen from approximately 30 years ago.
