Barite with Quartz

A beautiful and impressive and large crystal of Barite rising off a matrix of Quartz and smaller Barites. The Barite crystals are notably thick, sharp, lustrous, translucent bladed crystals of fine quality. There is a bit of roughness around the edges, but the piece is so darned aesthetic and showy, a few nicks are easily forgettable. Please note that the former owner attached a few spots of glue to the base to allow it to display more easily, truly showing off it's best aesthetic quality.
