Item Description

Well-crystallized baryte is very uncommon from the famous San Francisco Mine, known for world-class wulfenite and mimetite specimens. This outstanding piece is covered with dense jackstraw clusters of pearlescent, snow-white, platy baryte blades. Yellow mimetite micro-botryoids are noted on the fringe of the gossan matrix. Excellent and rare combination material from the 1970s finds from this famous mine from the Harold Urish Collection.
