Item Description

A very hard to find cabinet display specimen of this elusive material from the Black Forest. This piece features bladed crytals of snow white Barite which play host to tiny "drusy" sparkling gem quality Fluorite crystals. Great condition all over, and if you collect Barites or German minerals, don't miss out on this rare piece from this lesser known locality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5534). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
