Item Description

Despite the fact that there are only a handful of minerals found at the Elmwood mine, some of them are among the most recognizable minerals in the world. The classic cream colored Barites are well-known among collectors. This piece is essentially an aggregate of translucent, cream colored Barite with a few royal purple cubes of Fluorite on minor matrix. The largest Fluorite cube measures 7 mm. A classic example of an Elmwood Barite.
