Item Description

A fantastic old-time classic specimen of the famous Clarashall Mine Barites featuring a "mountain peak"-esque row of sharp, glassy, bladed, GEM quality colorless crystals sitting atop a larger more translucent Barite base, which has some attractive reddish tint from rarely seen Cinnabar inclusions. You don't see many pieces from this mine on the market, since it closed in 1974, but they are truly some of the better quality Barites you'll find from any German locality.
