Item Description

Stout, glassy, translucent, yellow to colorless, barite crystals form a very sculptural combination specimen from this deposit, the worlds largest antimony mine. The broad barite spearpoint terminations on one end are embedded with scattered stibiconite blades and tiny orthorhombic valentinite crystals. Both ends of the glassy, perpendicular barite crystal on one end are cleaved and one side of the piece is contacted. This remains a striking, scuptural and uncommon combination specimen from this noted locale.
