Barite w/ Cinnabar (classic locale)

Item Description

Glassy, parallel-growth, tabular, barite prisms are showingly sprinkled with cinnabar crystals and are lightly infused with cinnabar on this classic combination from this famous locale. The barites have translucent bodies and water-clear, gem, chisel terminations. Complete all-around, the bit of termination and side wear is certainly only a modest detraction. Uncommon and excellent material from this mine, that closed in the 1970s.
