Item Description

Lustrous, pastel-pink to ivory, barite blades in jackstraw clusters form a striking and excellent, two-sided specimen from this famous German district. A prominent cluster and rich sprinkling of brassy chalcopyrite crystals adds much character to this classic combination piece. The side with the chalcopyrite cluster and protruding barite cluster is remarkable. Probably from the well-known Dreislar Mine. Ex Ed Bancroft Collection.
