A very aesthetic and beautiful CABINET combination specimen from this classic, ancient French locale. Striking, intergrown rosettes of pearlescent, snow-white and iron oxide-tinted barite blades are commandingly set on a matrix plate of scintillating, gray, sphalerite microcrystals. This is a superb and pristine large combination specimen from Saint-Laurent-le-Minier. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. At Munich, I have seen prices on these, in euros, that seemed crazy high to me...here the market does not see them much, and they are sometimes turning up in old collections.
