A striking and beautiful 3.1 cm rosette of lustrous, barite blades dusted with iridescent, chalcopyrite microcrystals is very aesthetically perched on undulating matrix coverd with scintillating, gemmy, rubyjack sphalerite microcrystals on this outstanding and very showy combination specimen from a classic, ancient French locale - Saint-Laurent-le-Minier. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family.
