Item Description

Despite the fact that there are only a handful of minerals found at the Elmwood mine, some of them are among the most recognizable minerals in the world. The classic cream colored Barites are well-known among collectors. This piece features a somewhat "snowball"-shaped aggregate of Barite smartly perched atop a mound of crystallized reddish-brown Sphalerite. A classic example of an Elmwood Barite on matrix.
